PumpEng® is an Australian owned and operated business.

Our Raptor® pumps and parts are Australian designed and manufactured using the expertise gained through our long association with the mining industry.

Our bare shaft ISO end suction pumps and parts are sourced locally and from world class overseas manufacturers.

History

The owners of PumpEng were the original Goldfields distributor of pumps and spares for OEM manufacturer, and also an authorised repairer. After this business was developed to multi million $‘s per annum, the OEM opened a branch in Kalgoorlie themselves. After picking the business from the canvas the owners started importing a pump, with spare parts from overseas. After a couple of years the same OEM manufacturer bought our overseas supplier and closed the factory!!!! The decision had to be made: Do we walk away from this business or do we do something ourselves and be in control of our own destiny? This decision 10 years ago was the birth of PumpEng, and the Raptor pump range.

So, why was PumpEng® formed?
To improve the design of mass produced pump components to better suit Australian operating conditions. Done in consultation with Australian maintenance and mining staff. To manufacture in small batch runs, including special materials, and quick design changes. To reduce operating and maintenance costs through innovative design.

PumpEng® are a West Australian company with local experience in submersible dewatering. Manufacturing to Australian Standards done in Perth.
