Investing In Growth At The Kalgoorlie Branch

In this article, Matt Oliver, PumpEng Commercialisation Manager, talks about the expansion of the Kalgoorlie branch with key appointments and special events.

Appointment of New Manager

Daniel Kingston will oversee the Kalgoorlie expansion. Daniel has lived most of his life in Kalgoorlie. He is an electrician by trade and has worked as a project manager for a local engineering company. Daniel is a family man with strong Kalgoorlie connections, and we are excited that he'll be heading up the Kalgoorlie branch over the coming years.

Workshop Improvements

Our PumpEng Kalgoorlie office has traditionally been a workshop to hold stock as well as service and repair pumps. We have had two or three fitters based there. To meet the increased level of service demand, the business is now investing in a higher level of workshop capability.

The workshop has grown to become a PumpEng branch in its own right. It is better equipped to offer a full range of local services that continue our growing partnership with the local mining industry. PumpEng is keen to invest in the community and plans to open apprentice positions in the future.

Expanded Inventory

The rise in local demand has led to the decision to increase the level of stock held locally in Kalgoorlie. This allows us to be proactive in supporting local mining initiatives at the coal face.

History & Experience on The Ground

PumpEng has strong roots in Kalgoorlie, and we continue to build our presence in the region.
Paul Meneghel founded PumpEng in Kalgoorlie 20 years ago. Our HQ is now in Perth, but we started our journey in Kalgoorlie.

Good Day At Work

We are excited to see the Kalgoorlie branch grow because we believe it will help us deliver a good day at work for our partners.
